You Can't Go Home!

The sponsor apparently told him he could not send him back as he had already spent a lot of money to bring him here to work.
A case will soon be filed against Kumar for trying to commit suicide, police said.
What about the fucking sponsor?????

Pak Ghazi Strikes Again!!!

From left to right: Aisha (4 yrs old), Salman (1 yr old) and Fatima (6 yrs old) have all been in intensive care in the hospital due to severe food poisoning. Their other sibling Khadija (3 yrs old) already died on 14/04/07. You must have read the news in the papers, but my point in re-addressing this issue here is that Pak Ghazi restaurant, where the family took their takeaway meal from, should be closed down.
I'm not writing this coz I'm angry at the tragedy that has struck this family, but coz I have had the same experience TWICE in the same restaurant many years back. True, Pak Ghazi used to be a good restaurant a long time ago..... A LONG TIME AGO!! but not anymore. I remember I once went to this restaurant and the next day had a mild pain in my stomach. For anyone who has experienced food poisoning, you will know that it's a very uncomfortable pain.. no matter what you do, it just doesn't get any better. It takes time. So I assumed that perhaps it's something I ate at the restaurant, as that was the last thing I had before I went to sleep. Anyway, I didn't take it so seriously, but a few weeks later, I went to Pak Ghazi again and this time I had severe food poisoning. Not bad enough to go to the hospital, but bad enough for the pain to last for days and vomiting. This time I knew it was the food from the restaurant. I never went back.
The food quality is totally shit. I bet they mildly poison everyone everyday, but in some cases it's fatal!! Their is nothing authentic about their food! There are better restaurants out there that offer better food for the same prices, more or less! The municipality should permanently close down this shithole for good, once and for all!!!

Movie Reviews!

Watched 3 movies last week. I was expecting so much out of 300 that I couldn't take the disappointment half way through the movie! The trailer looked amazing, but the movie was not spectacular at all! I think everyone went for the movie coz the trailer was so good! It was in the papers that it's a big hit and all but you could make out from their faces when they came out of the cinema that something's HORRIBLY wrong here.. Wups.. too late, we already bought the tickets!! There's no character development, the narrator has a gloomy voice with no story-telling expertise - just not enough to keep you interested and entertained. I was expecting something like Troy or Gladiator type epic movie. But.............. it's just time pass if you have absolutely nothing to do!!
The second movie was Breaking and Entering which was totally crap and nonsense. This was her choice, so I had to go along with it. Despite strong performances by Jude Law, Juliette Binoche and party, the director just couldn't keep the plot together. It painfully drags on and you just want the misery to end! We both agreed that just 20 minutes after the movie started that it's going to be boring!! It's a total waste of time and money. The only thing we enjoyed during this session were the chocolate and strawberry crepes!!

The third movie was The Protector which was totally awesome. The second movie starring Tony Jaa. The first one was Ong Bak. He's truly an amazing martial artist, specializing in the art of Muay Thai. Of course, when it comes to most martial arts movies you don't expect a strong storyline, coz if you do, you're probably the biggest fucking idiot who comes out of the cinema grumbling and complaining. A good martial arts movie will keep you entertained, pump your adrenaline and you'll crave for more action as soon as one scene ends. This movie does just that! Tony Jaa is so skillful and believable in his action sequences that even she was interested and enjoyed the movie! :) The fight scenes are genuine with no special effects, which is why the movie is so fascinating! I recommend this movie to everyone, just for the action!!

BTW you're listening to one of my fav. songs - Chasing cars by Snow patrol. You'll like the lyrics.
