Stupid people!

This is the creekside behind Taawun Mall in Sharjah. A lot of people take their cars on the beach to avoid the traffic on the road, eventually joining back on Dubai-Sharjah highway. I admit I drive on the beach too sometimes if the road is jampacked! However, this one car somehow managed to go into the water. Stupid driver!

Free Stuff?

So Sharaf DG is advertising like crazy about their new electronics store in Dubai and their slogan is: If you can't find what you want, we'll give it for free!

Strange slogan... if I can't find what I want in the store, how will they give it to me for free? Will they go out to another store, purchase it and give it to me? or did I understand this all wrong?!! Someone enlighten me pls!

International Stink!

International City in Dubai (behind Dragonmart) is a very peaceful place to live. Reasonably priced apartments and lots of parking space all around the area. However, there's only one thing that spoils the whole image. It is also perhaps something that people didn't know before they bought or leased the apartments. It is located right next to a huge sewage treatment plant. It literally smells like shit! Every second day, sometimes late evening or sometimes late at night, the whole area starts to stink of shit. The stinky cloud spreads all the way to the highway towards Hatta/Oman. It's so horrible it isn't even funny! There's no way you can escape it! It comes through the balcony, the windows, the exhaust, the air conditioner... It really makes one wonder what the hell were the people at Nakheel thinking when they developed this area!!

1) I give my all in a relationship. Never cheat or lie. I'm a "one woman" man!!

2) I wanted to be a race car driver! Altho my street racing days are over (I'm a safer driver now), but I'm still very good. I'll admit there are occasional hiccups of recklessness!

3) I'm very stubborn, but only sometimes. It was much worse before. Life has taught me to compromise on many things. I also had a very short temper which, thankfully, is no more!

4) I'm a straightforward person and very blunt on occasions when it comes to expressing my opinion. I don't care who you are or what you do, I'll tell it to you on your face. In fact, there are a few relatives I want to blast.... just waiting for the chance!

5) I'm a pessimist! It's better to expect the worst and receive good news than to keep your expectations high only to be let down soon after!
