Google Calendar

Google's new calendar service looks promising! It looks good and is simple to use. They're heading straight for Yahoo Calendar and it's going to be a long fight! I'm already using Microsoft Outlook, well... not fully utilizing it's features, but using it for emails and short planners. I've tried the monthly planner feature. Update it one month, second month and then I really get bored doing it! Besides, the Outlook colors are so drab and gloomy compared to Google's calendar, which looks exciting. Although I doubt it's flashy colors will make my day look any good!!
I need a calendar to plan my life. It's a mess!

Film Your Own Violent Movie

This is sick! The report on a woman raped and the attackers record the whole thing on their mobiles! Every now and then these incidents are reported in the paper, but believe you me, a whole lot of them never get reported at all. The public has to know what's going on around them. You, reading this blog, know that our news media holds back a lot of information. Why? Is it damaging to the country image? Is it damaging to the policing authorities image? Is it due to the culture and tradition these reports never make it on paper or TV or radio? The robberies, car thefts, club fights, drunk drivers, etc. are common in the news, but crime of a sexual nature are mostly low-key.

Far worse, most of the culprits of these sex crimes get away with a slap on the hand (and perhaps a little manual on good behaviour!) Hell, print their full names with photographs! Let everyone see who these people are. Some time ago, eve-teasers who were caught, had their photos printed in the paper the next day. Maybe, they should do the same to real criminals.
